Scrut Is Now CREST-Accredited

Staying secure isn't a one-time thing. It's a habit. And to stay ahead of today's fast-moving threats, you need to work with teams that hold themselves to the highest standards.

We're excited to share some big news: Scrut is now officially CREST-accredited for Vulnerability Assessment services. That means an independent global body has reviewed our work and confirmed we meet the best-in-class standards for carrying out vulnerability assessments.

Our goal is to help growing companies stay secure without slowing down. Which is why this recognition is about more than a badge, says Kush Kaushik, Co-Founder and COO of Scrut. It shows that how we test, find, and help fix vulnerabilities isn't just solid global experts trust it.

First things first what is CREST?

CREST is a global not-for-profit membership body representing the global cyber security industry. It sets rigorous standards and checks how good cybersecurity companies really are at what they do. If you're CREST-accredited, it means your people, processes, and tools have all passed a tough review, and in Scrut's case, proves that it can carry out vulnerability assessments as per global standards.

We earned this accreditation by going through a detailed assessment looking at how we test systems, protect data, and run things daily.

Why vulnerability assessments matter

Think of a vulnerability assessment like a routine health check-up, but for your tech. It helps you find weak spots in your systems before someone else does.

It is recommended to do these checks at least once every quarter. But if you're moving fast or working in a sensitive industry like fintech or healthtech, you'll probably want to run them more often.

What does this mean for you

If you're a Scrut customer or thinking of becoming one here's what this new accreditation means for you:

  • Stronger trust: You're working with a partner whose work meets global standards.
  • Better visibility: Our reports don't just find problems they help you understand the risk and what to do next.
  • Faster action: We make it easier to fix issues quickly, so your team isn't stuck playing catch-up.

And if you're preparing for certifications like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA, strong vulnerability assessments are a must-have.

This is what Beyond compliance looks like

At Scrut, we've always said: Compliance shouldn't slow you down it should help you move faster.

That's why we built our platform to automate repetitive, time-consuming tasks, bring clarity to complicated processes, and help teams focus on what really matters: staying secure and moving forward.

If you're ready to take your security program to the next level, we're here to help. Whether you're starting out or scaling fast, our team can support you with vulnerability assessments that are smart, fast, and from a CREST-accredited company. Let's talk.
