Another G2 season, another reason to celebrate!

Scrut Automation earned 153 badges across 244 placements in G2’s Fall 2026 Reports, including 44 Leader badges, 52 High Performer badges, and 35 #1 rankings.

At the overall category level, Scrut was named a Momentum Leader in 9 categories and a Leader in 8 categories.

The results span GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), security compliance, cloud security, cloud compliance, audit management, IT risk management, policy management, IT asset management, attack surface management, and vendor security and privacy assessment.

G2 rankings are based on customer reviews alongside factors such as market presence, depending on the report. For us, the most useful part of these results is what sits behind the badges: feedback from security, compliance, and risk teams using Scrut in their day-to-day work.

Thank you to every customer who took the time to review Scrut, share what is working, and tell us where we can do better.

Here is a closer look at Scrut’s G2 Fall 2026 recognition.

Leading the way with 9 Momentum Leader badges

A G2 Momentum Leader badge means a product was placed in the Leader quadrant of a Momentum Grid report.

Scrut received 9 Momentum Leader badges across Attack Surface Management, Audit Management, Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security Posture Management, IT Asset Management, IT Risk Management, Policy Management, Security Compliance, and Vendor Security and Privacy Assessment.

A Momentum Leader badge means a product is placed in the Leader quadrant of a G2 Momentum Grid. Unlike a standard Grid, the Momentum Grid also looks at signals of growth over time, including factors such as review, employee, web, and social growth.

The range of categories matters here. Security and compliance teams rarely work inside a single workflow. Audit readiness depends on controls and evidence. Cloud compliance depends on visibility into the environment. Third-party risk, policies, assets, and security findings all feed into the same broader GRC program.

Building customer trust with 8 Leader badges

A G2 Leader badge means a product was placed in the Leader quadrant of a Grid report. G2 determines this placement using Satisfaction and Market Presence scores within a specific category, region, or company-size segment.

Scrut was named a Leader in 8 overall G2 category Grid reports across Audit Management, Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, IT Risk Management, Policy Management, Security Compliance, and Vendor Security and Privacy Assessment.

We’re particularly proud to be recognized as a Leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, a category that sits at the heart of what Scrut helps organizations manage. Across all overall, regional, and company-size reports, Scrut earned 44 Leader badges in Fall 2026.

A G2 Leader badge indicates placement in the Leader quadrant of a Grid report. G2 determines Grid placement using two primary dimensions: customer Satisfaction and Market Presence within that particular category, region, or company-size segment.

This season, G2 notes that:

According to G2 Fall 2026 Insights

Raising the bar with 52 High Performer badges

Scrut earned 52 High Performer badges across GRC, security, compliance, and risk categories, with particularly strong recognition in the areas that matter most to our customers.

That included Cloud Security Posture Management in North America and Europe, as well as overall High Performer recognition for Cloud Security Posture Management, Attack Surface Management, and IT Asset Management.

Scrut was also named a High Performer for Enterprise customers in Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security, and Security Compliance.

The recognition extends to smaller organizations, as well. Scrut received Mid-Market High Performer badges across Audit Management, Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security Posture Management, and IT Asset Management, along with Small Business recognition in areas including Cloud Security Posture Management, IT Asset Management, and IT Risk Management.

On G2, products in the High Performer quadrant have high customer Satisfaction scores relative to their Market Presence within a particular report.

Notable badges we received

Making compliance easier with 10 “Best Usability” badges

A compliance platform needs to be easy for teams to use day to day, not just powerful on paper. When security and compliance work involves multiple teams, policies, controls, and requirements, a clear, intuitive experience makes it easier for people to get involved and keep work moving.

Scrut earned 10 Best Usability badges in G2’s Fall 2026 Reports. That included overall Best Usability recognition in Cloud Security Posture Management, IT Asset Management, and Policy Management, along with Small Business and Mid-Market recognition across Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security, and Security Compliance.

Earning 3 Users Most Likely to Recommend badges

A recommendation is ultimately a reflection of the experience customers have with a product. For security and compliance teams, that experience can come down to how easy the platform is to navigate, how quickly teams can get value from it, and the support they receive along the way.

Scrut earned 3 Users Most Likely to Recommend badges, including recognition among Small Business customers for Cloud Security Posture Management, as well as Overall and Small Business recognition in IT Risk Management.

Building stronger customer relationships with 13 Best Relationship badges

Security and compliance work can be complex, especially for teams navigating certification requirements for the first time. Having a platform that brings the work together matters, but so does having the right support to guide teams through it.

Scrut earned 13 Best Relationship badges in Fall 2026, including overall recognition in Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security Posture Management, IT Asset Management, IT Risk Management, and Policy Management. Scrut also received Best Relationship badges across Small Business and Mid-Market reports in these areas, reflecting strong customer experiences across different company sizes.

Making compliance easier to get started with 4 Easiest Setup badges

Getting a compliance program off the ground can involve coordinating people, policies, controls, evidence, and multiple requirements from the start. A straightforward setup can help teams spend less time figuring out how to get started and more time moving their compliance program forward.

Scrut earned 4 Easiest Setup badges, with recognition among both Small Business and Mid-Market customers in Security Compliance, Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security Posture Management, and IT Asset Management. The recognition across these categories reflects how Scrut helps teams get their security and compliance programs up and running across different areas of their environment.

Scrut’s G2 recognition spans customers and regions

Scrut’s Fall 2026 G2 results span Small Business, Mid-Market, and Enterprise reports as well as regional reports across markets including Europe, Asia, Asia Pacific, and EMEA.

That breadth is important because compliance programs do not look identical everywhere.

A smaller company pursuing its first SOC 2 audit has different operating constraints from an enterprise managing multiple frameworks, cloud environments, business units, vendors, and risk programs. Regional requirements and customer expectations vary as well.

The Fall 2026 results show Scrut appearing across that range rather than being concentrated in a single segment.

Scrut is built around how security and compliance teams actually work

The most interesting part of Scrut’s G2 Fall 2026 results is not any individual badge.

It is the combination of categories customers are recognizing Scrut in: GRC, security compliance, cloud security, audit management, policy management, IT risk, asset management, attack surface management, and vendor assessments.

Those areas are connected in practice. The same control may matter to an audit, a framework, a customer questionnaire, and an internal risk program. The same evidence may support several requirements. A cloud configuration issue can become a compliance gap. A vendor assessment can become a risk that needs an owner and follow-up.

That is the problem Scrut is built around: helping security and compliance teams manage this work in one place without treating every framework, audit, risk, or piece of evidence as an isolated task.

The 153 badges are a welcome milestone. The customer feedback behind them is what matters more. Thank you to everyone who reviewed Scrut and helped shape what we build next.
