CMMC
Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a standard for implementing cybersecurity across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
The CMMC is the Department of Defense (DoD) response to significant compromises of sensitive defense information located on contractors’ information systems.
To protect sensitive government information on contractors’ information systems, the CMMC has established five certification levels that indicate the maturity and reliability of an organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
